High fiVe Food Program:
Each week, Children’s Hospital receives 200 requests for meal cards. We have a goal of providing 2000 meals (approximately 1 year of meals for a family). We need 3 Major Gifts to cover this!

Five Hundred Nights
Besides food, the most requested assistance we receive is for hotel stays. This is echoed through the halls of CCHMC and RMH. Cincinnati Children’s Family Resource Center receives 150-200 requests for lodging assistance per week and the Ronald McDonald House has an extensive waiting list. This temporary housing is critical to families who are seeking medical care from out of town for their critically ill child and for followup care. We have a goal of providing 500 hotel stays for families.

Family Care Bags
We have been asked by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to provide Family Care Bags filled with personal care and practical items for families who are admitted from the Emergency Room Dept to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Often times, this is an unexpected stay due to critical illness and the family has had no time to make provisions. They are often greeted by several medical teams and it can be an overwhelming time. This bag provides personal care and assorted items that are often left behind but necessary for staying with a child for several days in the hospital. Family Care Bags offer peace of mind and serve as a reminder that reVIV is there for their family during their hospital stay and transition home.
Their current need is 50 bags every two months.
